Springfield 12 Inch Plug-In Pedestal Package

The Springfield 12 Inch Plug-In Pedestal Package is a three-piece fixed-height pedestal that plugs into a deck base and pulls out when you want the deck clear. It comes with a locking Trac-Lock swivel, so the seat can turn and then lock in position. Twelve inches is a comfortable height for many tiller-steered and small console boats.

Plug-in systems are a favorite for small fishing boats because the seat comes out completely when you need space for casting, netting, or loading gear. The locking swivel lets you face one direction while trolling, then unlock it to turn and fight a fish. It is a simple, removable setup for jon boats, small bass boats, and fishing decks.

Confirm that 12 inches puts the seat at a comfortable height for your deck, and install the base with backing under the deck. Rinse sand out of the base before plugging the post back in, since grit is the main cause of a stiff fit. The stainless 7 x 7 plug-in base is also sold separately in our seats, pedestals & slides.
