Springfield KingPin 15-1/2 Inch Pedestal Package

The Springfield KingPin 15-1/2 Inch Pedestal Package is a three-piece fixed-height pedestal set for the KingPin system, with a 7 x 7-inch base. KingPin is Springfield's removable pedestal system, where the post locks into a deck base and lifts out when you want the deck clear. Like the other KingPin parts, it carries an ABYC Class H-31 B fishing-only rating.

A package includes the parts needed to build the pedestal rather than buying each one separately. A 15-1/2-inch height suits a casting deck seat or a helm seat on smaller bass and bay boats. Because the height is fixed, there is no gas cylinder to lose pressure. Fewer moving parts also mean less maintenance over the years.

Check the height by setting your seat on a box of the same height before ordering, since a couple of inches makes a big difference over a long day. Bolt the 7 x 7-inch base through the deck with a backing plate, and seal the bolt holes. Power-Rise KingPin posts are also in our seats, pedestals & slides.
