Springfield Posi-Lock Adjustable Boat Pedestal

The Springfield Posi-Lock Adjustable Boat Pedestal adjusts from 11-7/8 to 14-3/4 inches. It is a non-removable system that stays permanently in place on the deck. The Posi-Lock design holds the height firmly once it is set. Because it is bolted down for good, it gives a solid feel at the helm, with no receiver or plug-in joint to work loose over time.

A fixed, non-removable pedestal suits helm seats and other positions where the pedestal never needs to come out. It is also less likely to develop wobble than a post that comes in and out often. About three inches of adjustment fine-tunes the seat for different operators. That range is enough for a seated driver to set the right sight line over the console or windshield.

Set it over a stringer or other solid structure, use stainless through-bolts, and seal every hole to keep water out of the deck. Check the bolts after the first few trips, wipe the post with fresh water after saltwater use, and check the lock each season.
