Springfield 13 Inch Clipper Fixed Pedestal

The Springfield 13 Inch Clipper Fixed Pedestal is a one-piece fixed-height pedestal with a 9-inch mounting pattern and a locking Trac-Lock seat mount. With no height mechanism, there is nothing to adjust or wear out. Thirteen inches is a common height for helm and passenger seats.

Clipper pedestals are a simple, affordable way to raise a seat on runabouts, pontoons, and fishing boats. The 9-inch mounting pattern spreads the load across the deck, and the locking mount holds the seat facing forward while running. The one-piece design is quick to install, with no separate post and base to align. It is also a common replacement for an older pedestal that has corroded, cracked, or worked loose from the deck over the years.

Measure from the deck to your preferred seat height before choosing 13 inches. Bolt the base through the deck where possible, using a backing plate on thin or cored decks so the pedestal stays tight.
