Springfield 13 Inch Thread-Lock Pedestal Post

The Springfield 13 Inch Thread-Lock Pedestal Post is a fixed 13-inch post that screws into a Thread-Lock base. It is high-strength aluminum, which resists corrosion in fresh and salt water. A non-locking Trac-Lock seat mount on top lets the seat swivel freely. Its fixed height means there are no cylinders, levers, or collars to adjust, so the post keeps working season after season with very little upkeep.

Thread-Lock connections screw the post into the base, so the post cannot lift out in rough water the way some plug-in posts can. It still unscrews and comes out when you want the deck clear for casting, cleaning, or covering the boat for storage. Thirteen inches is a comfortable height for many fishing decks and smaller helm stations. A threaded connection also stays quieter underway, since there is less room for the post to rattle in the base.

Confirm the post height and that your base is the Thread-Lock type before ordering, since Thread-Lock posts only fit Thread-Lock bases. Keep the threads clean and add a little marine grease so the post stays easy to remove. Other posts and bases are in our seats, pedestals & slides.
