Description

The Shakespeare Dorsal Antenna is a low-profile, fin-shaped VHF antenna in black for short-range use. It covers the 156 to 162 MHz marine band with up to about 10 miles of range. Its fin shape can't snag lines or rigging.

The body is high-impact ABS for long life in harsh conditions. It's fully water sealed, and a rubber gasket is included. It measures 100 x 60 x 65 mm.

It mounts on an M14 x 1 thread base. An 8 meter RG-58 cable with a PL-259 plug comes attached. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more marine antennas.
