Shakespeare Skinny Mini Low Profile VHF Antenna

The Shakespeare Skinny Mini Low Profile VHF Antenna, Style 5250, is a compact, lightweight 3-foot design built for boats where deck and rail space runs tight, bass boats and small fishing vessels especially, where a bulkier antenna simply gets in the way.

A chrome-plated brass canister houses the antenna's electronics and keeps performance from drifting off frequency over time, while a sealed, tin-plated copper coil inside stays protected from moisture despite constant exposure. The stainless steel whip itself is rugged for its small size, and cable plus a PL-259 connector both come included, so there's nothing extra to source before installation.

One mounting note worth knowing ahead of time: the mount needs a center hole to route the included 15-foot RG-58 cable through, so a standard solid-base mount without that feature won't work here.
