The Shakespeare Classic 5104 4-Foot VHF Antenna, Black, with 15' RG-58 cable, shares the same 3dB electrical design as its white counterpart, just finished in black for boaters matching darker hardware or towers. That means the same end-fed construction with matching stub, brass and copper elements, and a glossy polyurethane finish that resists fading and yellowing under sun exposure.

Shakespeare built the Classic line to punch above its price point, delivering the kind of construction quality usually reserved for pricier antennas without asking a boater to pay a premium for it. The included cable can be trimmed to the exact length needed for a given install rather than being fixed at 15 feet regardless of the actual run.

3dB gain, one section, 4' height, chrome-plated brass ferrule, 50W maximum input, nominal 1.5:1 SWR at 156.8 MHz, 5 MHz bandwidth within 2.0:1 VSWR. Ships with 15' of RG-58 terminated in PL-259. Works with a Style 4187 or 5187 Ratchet Mount, each purchased separately.
