Description

The Power Systems Sea Brackets 20-Inch Straight Plate for Garmin Kraken is machined from 1/2-inch 6061-T6 aluminum for the Garmin Quick Release Plate System.

Straight rather than offset is the difference here. The 20-inch length gives fore-and-aft positioning rather than lateral shift. That suits a bow where the obstruction is the pulpit or an anchor roller ahead of the mount, and moving the motor back solves it where moving it sideways would not.

Twenty inches also spreads the load across more deck than a compact plate, which matters on a bow that is cored rather than solid. A trolling motor loads its mount hard on deployment and on every impact, and spreading that over a longer footprint reduces the stress at any one fastener.

It is cut for Garmin's Quick Release Plate System and Force Kraken motors, so the pattern will not fit Rhodan or Minn Kota brackets. Primed, powder coated and UV protected, with clean gauged holes, port or starboard installation, and 316L stainless hardware plus a backing disk recommended. Explore more trolling motor accessories.

  • Straight, giving fore-and-aft position rather than lateral
  • Solves a pulpit or anchor roller ahead of the mount
  • Twenty inches spreads load across a cored bow
  • Cut for Garmin, not Rhodan or Minn Kota
