The Power Systems Sea Brackets 12-Inch Straight Plate for Garmin Force Kraken is the most compact straight plate in this group, in 1/2-inch 6061-T6 aluminum.

Twelve inches is as small as this range goes, for a Kraken installation where the deck simply has no room for anything longer. At that size the plate is doing less load-spreading than the longer versions, so the backing arrangement underneath matters more rather than less.

Sea Brackets recommends 316L stainless hardware with a backing disk or another suitable support system, and on a compact plate that is not optional. Fastener length depends on deck thickness and the backing arrangement, which has to be worked out before ordering hardware rather than after.
