Sea Brackets 16in Straight Plate for Garmin Kraken

The Power Systems Sea Brackets 16-Inch Straight Plate for Garmin Kraken is machined from 1/2-inch 6061-T6 aluminum for the Garmin Quick Release Plate System.

Sixteen inches is the shortest straight plate here, for a bow where deck space is tight but a dedicated plate still beats fastening the bracket straight down. Bolting a quick-release bracket directly to the deck concentrates the load on four fasteners in whatever the laminate happens to be. A plate spreads it.

On a cored bow that difference decides whether the mount stays tight. Concentrated load crushes core over a season and the fasteners work loose. The plate is half-inch 6061-T6 aluminum, rigid enough not to flex under a deploying motor.

It is cut for Garmin's Quick Release Plate System and Force Kraken motors, with a hole pattern that will not fit other brands.
