Fourteen inches is near the compact end of the straight range, for a bow where deck area is limited and a longer plate would overhang something. At 14 by 8 inches it still spreads the mounting load well beyond the four bolts a bracket would otherwise use, which is the main structural reason to fit a plate at all.

It is cut for Garmin's Quick Release Plate System and Force Kraken motors, and the hole pattern will not suit Rhodan or Minn Kota brackets. Confirming the motor brand is the first check, since the plates across this range look alike and the patterns are not interchangeable.

Half-inch 6061-T6 aluminum, primed, powder coated and UV protected for marine durability, with clean gauged holes for smooth fastener engagement.
