Description

The Samlex 24V charger is a 25A two-bank three-stage unit, UL-1564 listed, with a temperature sensor included.

Two things here are not on the other Samlex chargers. Half Power Mode drops the available current for lower-capacity batteries, which stops a 25A charger driving a small battery harder than it can absorb. The included temperature sensor is the other, adjusting charge voltage as battery temperature changes so a cold battery is not undercharged or a hot one overcharged.

A DIP switch selects between three-stage charging for normal recovery and a two-stage algorithm for batteries left connected to an active DC load. Two banks charge at once without a separate isolator, and front-panel voltage and current meters show what the charger is doing without connecting test equipment.

Output-controlled fan cooling balances thermal management against noise, running only as hard as conditions require. It works with the Samlex 900-RC remote where the charger is mounted somewhere inconvenient, and it is UL 1564 listed and FCC Part 15(B) Class B compliant. Explore more 2-bank battery chargers.
