Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 24V 25A 3-Bank Charger

The Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 24V 25A is a three-bank charger accepting 120-240V AC, rated IP43.

Each of the three outputs can take the full 25 amps individually while the combined total stays within the charger's rating, so current follows the bank that needs it. This is the 24V version, and it will not serve a 12V system whatever the amperage. Confirming system voltage is the first check rather than the last.

The six-stage sequence runs bulk, absorption, recondition, float, storage and refresh, with absorption time varying by discharge depth rather than a fixed timer. BatterySafe limits excessive voltage rise, and Storage mode reduces long-term float to slow gassing, corrosion and water loss while a periodic refresh guards against sulfation.

Automatic voltage compensation offsets DC cable losses as current rises, holding the intended voltage at the battery rather than at the charger terminals.
