Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12/30 3-Bank Charger

The Victron Phoenix Smart IP43 12/30 is a 12V 30A three-bank charger accepting 120-240V AC, rated IP43.

Each of the three outputs can deliver the full 30 amps individually, while the combined total stays within the charger's rating. That is a more useful arrangement than a fixed split. A bank that comes back nearly flat gets the full current, and one that is already charged takes almost nothing, rather than each output being locked to a third of capacity.

That flexibility matters most on a boat where the banks return from use at very different states of charge, which is the normal situation rather than the exception. The adaptive charging sequence adjusts absorption time to discharge depth rather than following fixed timing.

Bluetooth through VictronConnect gives setup, monitoring, alarms and firmware updates without physical access to the charger.
