The Samlex 24V charger is a 15A three-bank three-stage unit, UL-1564 listed.

Fifteen amps across three 24V banks is modest output, and that is the point. This is a maintainer for several banks rather than a fast recovery charger for one. It suits communications sites, backup installations and boats where the banks are topped up continuously rather than run flat and recharged.

Three banks charge simultaneously without an external isolator, which is the component this charger replaces in a multi-bank installation. The program switches between two-stage and three-stage: three-stage for normal stand-alone charging, two-stage where batteries stay connected to an active DC load.

It can also run as a regulated DC power supply or as part of a DC UPS when paired with a battery, so the same unit covers charging and supply. Front-panel voltage and current metering with LED status makes routine checks straightforward, and the 900-RC remote is supported for awkward mounting positions.
