Samlex 24V 2000W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter

The Samlex PST-2000-24 is intended for 24V electrical systems that need dependable AC power for sensitive electronics and heavier everyday loads. Its pure sine waveform supports equipment that may not operate correctly from a modified-wave inverter, including many computers, chargers, and electronically controlled appliances. Commercial-grade construction makes the unit suitable for long operating periods in boats, service vehicles, RVs, telecommunications sites, and backup systems. Low interference and low idle draw help it fit into systems where both electronics compatibility and battery efficiency matter.

The inverter continuously protects itself against low voltage, overvoltage, excessive temperature, overload, and short circuits. Temperature-controlled cooling reduces wasted fan energy and noise when the inverter is not working near its thermal limit. Short-duration output can rise to 3500 watts to help start equipment that draws more power initially than it does while running. Battery warning and shutdown functions provide additional protection when the DC supply begins to fall outside the intended operating range.

The front panel provides GFCI-protected AC receptacles, and the unit is also capable of a hard-wired installation when a fixed output connection is preferred. An external remote-input circuit can be used with an ignition signal or another on/off switch, and the optional RC-300 remote can add control away from the inverter itself. The enclosure measures about 10.35 x 18.43 x 4.16 in and weighs approximately 15.6 lb, so the mounting area should provide both support and airflow. Keep the DC cable run as short and direct as practical, especially when the inverter will operate near full output for long periods.
