Description

The Samlex PST 300W 24V is a pure sine wave inverter with a NEMA 5-20R GFCI duplex outlet and 500W surge capability.

This is the 24V version of the 300W PST, and unlike the 12V model it comes with detachable DC cables rather than a plug adapter and clamps. There is no 24V equivalent of a cigarette socket on most boats, so direct battery connection is the only sensible method at this voltage.

Three hundred watts from 24 volts draws around 13 amps, half what the 12V version needs for the same output. That keeps the cable modest even on a longer run, which is one of the quiet advantages of a 24V system.

A front-mounted NEMA 5-20R GFCI duplex outlet gives protected AC connections despite the small size. The temperature-controlled fan reduces operation under light load, idle draw stays low to conserve battery capacity, and the Universal Protection Circuit covers low voltage, over-voltage, over-temperature, overload and short circuit. Explore more power inverters.

  • 24V with detachable DC cables, no plug adapter
  • There is no 24V cigarette socket to plug into
  • 300W at 24V draws around 13 amps
  • GFCI duplex outlet with 500W surge
