Description

The Roper Sunset Series 2 Stockman has satin-finished carbon steel clip, sheepsfoot and spey blades in an acrylic handle with Southwest artwork, nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 3.88 inches.

The Southwest artwork is set into the acrylic rather than printed on it, so it cannot wear off with pocket carry, and light passing into the material gives the color a depth that bone and wood cannot match. The three blades cover distinct jobs: the clip for general cutting, the sheepsfoot for controlled push cuts, and the spey, whose flat edge and rounded tip suit scraping without a point to puncture.

Carbon steel takes a keener edge than stainless and comes back faster on a stone. Each blade opens on a nail nick, backed by a slip joint where spring tension does the work. Explore more Stockman Knives.
