Quick Anchor Rode 7mm Chain with 300' 1/2" Rope

This Quick Anchor Rode combines 15 feet of 7 mm chain with 300 feet of 1/2 inch rope in one ready-made system. The rode is everything that connects the anchor to the boat. A pre-made rope and chain combination saves you from splicing it yourself.

Quick's Slim Splice joins a calibrated chain to a top-quality 3-strand polyester rope. The splice is much slimmer and more tapered than a standard splice. That keeps it from jamming on the windlass gypsy as the rode changes over from rope to chain. The 7mm dimension is specific to this version and should be checked against the available space or existing part before installation.

The chain section adds weight at the anchor and resists chafe on the bottom, while the rope keeps the rode light and gives some stretch. 300 feet of rope gives room for proper scope in deeper anchorages. Check that the anchor will fit the bow roller, locker or storage location before replacing an existing setup. Browse more anchor rodes and chain.
