Description
The ProMariner ProSportHD 20 Plus Global Gen 4 is a 20A three-bank charger accepting 100-240V AC at 50 or 60Hz, requiring a C13 adapter plug.
The C13 adapter is required and is worth planning for before the charger goes in. Without it there is no way to connect the unit, and discovering that at installation is a wasted afternoon. Global input across 100-240V at either frequency is why it exists in this form, suiting a boat used or serviced in more than one region.
A tri-surface extruded heat sink moves heat through upper, lower and rear surfaces, which keeps the unit considerably lighter than the epoxy-filled chargers it replaces. ProMar Digital Technology controls charging electronically, and Distributed-On-Demand redirects unused capacity to the batteries needing recovery.
An expanded LED display gives a fuel-gauge style completion monitor alongside charge mode, system check, battery status and fault information. Auto-Maintain Energy Saver cuts AC draw during storage, periodic reconditioning supports long-term battery health, and the power cables are pre-wired. Explore more on-board battery chargers.
