Description
The ProMariner ProSportHD 20 Global Gen 4 is a 20A two-bank charger accepting 100-240V AC at 50 or 60Hz, requiring a C13 adapter plug.
Two banks rather than three is the difference from the Plus version at the same 20A output, which means each bank sees more of the available current. For a boat with a cranking battery and a single house or trolling bank, the two-bank model is the correct choice rather than paying for a third output that stays unused.
A C13 adapter plug is required for connection and should be sourced as part of the installation rather than discovered afterward. Tri-surface heat-sink construction exposes several cooling faces so the charger holds its rated output without a heavy epoxy-filled enclosure.
The expanded LED display covers charge completion, operating mode, system checks, individual battery condition and fault status. Energy Saver logic reduces shore power consumption during storage, and reverse-polarity, over-temperature, over-current, over-voltage and ignition protection are built in. Explore more on-board battery chargers.
- Two banks, where the Plus version has three
- More current per bank at the same 20A rating
- Correct for a cranking battery plus one other
- A C13 adapter plug is required and not included
