Description

The ProMariner ProSportHD 12 Gen 4 is a 12A two-bank onboard charger running on 120V.

Twelve amps across two banks suits smaller batteries, and matching output to bank size matters more than buying the largest charger available. A charger sized well above what a bank needs pushes current a small battery cannot absorb, which shortens its life rather than filling it faster.

Distributed-On-Demand moves unused capacity to the battery still requiring recovery, so the banks charge according to actual demand rather than a fixed split. ProMar Digital Technology manages charging electronically, and the tri-surface heat-sink housing sheds heat through three faces without the mass of an epoxy-filled charger.

A fuel-gauge style completion monitor and expanded LED system show operating mode, system checks, battery condition, battery type and faults at a glance. Energy Saver logic reduces AC consumption during layup, and jacketed AC and DC cables are supplied with the charger. Explore more on-board battery chargers.

  • 12A across two banks, for smaller batteries

  • An oversized charger shortens a small battery's life
