Description

The Ontario RAT I has a 3.5-inch satin AUS-8 stainless blade, a desert tan nylon handle, a thumb stud, a lanyard hole and a pocket clip, closing to 5 inches.

Desert tan is the lightest handle in the RAT range and the one that shows dirt least, which sounds trivial until a knife has spent a season in a pack. It also reads as the least tactical of the colors. Against black or olive drab, tan on a work folder looks like equipment rather than kit.
