The Newmar 32-12-25 DC Converter takes 20-50V DC to a regulated 12V output, at 20A continuous and 25A intermittent.
A 20 to 50 volt input range covers 24V and 32V systems from one converter. Thirty-two volt systems appear on commercial and older vessels, and equipment for them is far harder to find than 12V or 24V. A converter spanning both removes that problem.
Regulation holds within 1 percent under rated line and load conditions. That precision matters for navigation and communication equipment, which is where voltage variation shows up as errors and resets rather than as an obvious failure.
