The Newmar 32-12-15 DC Converter takes 20-50V DC to a regulated 12V output at 15A continuous, with 1% regulation.
Fifteen amps is the smaller of the two 32-12 converters, against 20A continuous on the 32-12-25. Sizing to the actual equipment load rather than the largest available matters, since a converter running well below its rating still draws idle current.
The 20 to 50 volt input covers 24V and 32V systems from one part. Thirty-two volt vessels are the awkward case, since equipment for them is scarce and a converter to 12V opens up the whole marine electronics market.
Nominal output is 13.6V, internally adjustable from around 12.6V to 14.5V.
