Mastervolt Magic 12/12-20 DC-DC Converter

The Mastervolt Magic 12/12-20 is an isolated DC-DC converter giving a nominal 13.6V from an 11-16V input, at 20A and 300W.

Twelve volts in and 12 out is done for isolation and regulation rather than any change of voltage. It separates the source from the load electrically and holds a steady output while the supply swings, which is what stops equipment misbehaving on a boat where voltage moves with charging and load.

Output is adjustable from 10 to 15V through MasterAdjust rather than by an internal trimmer. Software adjustment means the setting can be recorded and repeated, where an internal potentiometer relies on whoever set it remembering what they did.
