The Morakniv Basic 511 is a simple, dependable fixed blade made for everyday work. The 3.625-inch carbon steel blade is a good size for cutting, trimming, carving, and general utility jobs without feeling oversized. The bright red polypropylene handle is easy to spot in a toolbox, on a workbench, or in a gear bag, and the molded shape keeps maintenance simple.

At about 8.25 inches overall, the Basic 511 is compact enough to carry comfortably while still giving you plenty of usable blade. It comes with a gray molded polymer belt sheath, and the sheath has a drain hole to help moisture escape.
