Maxwell Cima 1200W 12V 4-Hole Flange Windlass Motor

The Maxwell Cima is a 1200W 12V windlass motor with a 4-hole flange, rated IP66, running at 3500 RPM and measuring 114 by 181mm.

Twelve volt is the standard system on most boats under about 40 feet, and this is the version for those. The 24V variant is otherwise identical in size, mounting and output. At 1200W on 12V the current draw is substantial, so the cable run to the windlass needs to be properly sized or the motor will run weakly and the wiring will heat.

The 4-hole flange is the mounting pattern and must match the existing gearbox rather than being adaptable with a plate. IP66 protection covers the dust and heavy water an anchor locker sees.
