Maxwell AnchorMax 12V Windlass for Boats to 32 Feet

The Maxwell AnchorMax is a compact vertical windlass for rope anchor rodes on boats from 16 to 32 ft and up to 4 tons. A vertically mounted permanent magnet motor drives a small, fully sealed gearbox for a high power-to-weight ratio. It takes up very little room below deck.

It hauls about 76 ft per minute at its working load. The gear housings are marine-grade alloy, and the drum is stainless steel. It weighs about 17.6 lb.

It installs without taking the winch apart and comes with a deck footswitch, fasteners, a template and instructions. It is a single-direction (up) unit, and Maxwell does not recommend it for chain or for hauling halyards. Use it with an all-rope rode for the best results.
