Pairing a clip blade with a dedicated skinning blade is what makes this a folding hunter rather than a trapper. The skinner has a broader curved belly than a spey and is meant for hide rather than scraping. At 5.25 inches closed this is a large folder, longer shut than many knives are open, so it ships in a pouch rather than expecting a pocket.
