Description
The Marbles Folding Hunter has stainless clip and skinning blades in stag bone handles with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 5.25 inches, with a zippered storage pouch.
Pairing a clip blade with a dedicated skinning blade is what makes this a folding hunter rather than a trapper. The skinner has a broader curved belly than a spey and is meant for hide rather than scraping. At 5.25 inches closed this is a large folder, longer shut than many knives are open, so it ships in a pouch rather than expecting a pocket.
Stag bone is bone worked to imitate the ridged surface of antler, so it varies in color and texture from one handle to the next. Marbles notes that the nickel silver bolsters may arrive tarnished, which polishes off and is normal for the metal. Explore more Folding Knives.
