Description
The Marbles Jumbo Trapper has mirror finish stainless clip and spey blades in a black stag bone handle with nickel silver bolsters and an inlay shield, closing to 4.5 inches.
Black stag bone is dyed rather than natural, and the dye settles into the ridged surface unevenly so the raised texture reads lighter than the grooves between it. Against a mirror blade that contrast is the point, and it is why black stag stays popular where a solid black synthetic would cost less.
The clip blade takes general cutting while the spey's flat edge and rounded tip handle skinning and scraping without a point to puncture. At 4.5 inches closed this is the jumbo size, longer shut than many knives are open, which puts it on a belt rather than in a pocket. Explore more Trapper Knives.
