The Ka-Bar Fighting Knife has a 7-inch black 1095 Cro-Van clip point blade with a combo edge at 11.875 inches overall, a black Kraton G handle and a glass filled nylon sheath.

A combo edge splits the blade, plain toward the tip and serrated nearer the handle, which puts the controlled section where detail cutting happens and the teeth where the hand pushes hardest on rope and webbing. That matters on a 7-inch blade, since the serrated section has enough length to actually saw rather than just scrape.

1095 Cro-Van is Ka-Bar's carbon steel with chromium and vanadium added, tougher than plain 1095 and holding an edge better. Kraton G is a soft synthetic rubber that grips when wet, and the nylon sheath tolerates water and grit that leather does not. Explore more Utility and Work Knives.
