Jabsco 24V 3-Inch 105 CFM Flangemount Blower

The Jabsco 24V 3-Inch Flangemount Blower (part 34739-0020) moves about 105 CFM through 3-inch ducting on 24-volt systems. It is the 24V counterpart to the standard 12V 3-inch flangemount blower. Larger boats, commercial vessels, and many European-built boats run 24V systems. It moves the same air as the 12V model, just at the higher system voltage.

The flange mounts to a bulkhead or other flat surface with screws, and 3-inch hose slips over the collars. It is ignition protected for use where fuel vapors may be present. This is a standard-duty unit suited to vapor purging and shorter runs. Since the 24V motor draws roughly half the current of a 12V motor for the same work, wire runs to the helm switch can be lighter.

Make sure the boat is truly 24V before ordering, since a 24V motor will run slowly on a 12V system. Mount it high in the duct with the intake end running low into the bilge. For longer run times, choose a continuous-duty 24V blower. Use a 24V-rated switch and fuse at the helm, and label the circuit clearly on the panel.
