Jabsco 115V 3-Inch 100 CFM Flangemount Blower

The Jabsco 115V 3-Inch Flangemount Blower (part 34744-0000) runs on AC shore or generator power and moves about 100 CFM through 3-inch ducting. An AC blower makes sense when the space it ventilates is used mostly at the dock or while the generator is running, such as a galley, a head, or an engine room during maintenance. Running from the AC side also keeps the load off the house batteries.

The flange on the housing screws flat to a bulkhead or any firm surface, and the duct slips over the inlet and outlet collars. The housing is a reinforced plastic that will not rust in a damp engine space. Jabsco builds its blowers to be ignition protected, so they can be installed in compartments where fuel vapor may collect.

Wire it through a properly rated breaker on the AC panel, using marine-grade cable and secure strain relief at the housing. Keep the duct runs as short and straight as possible, since every bend and extra foot of hose cuts the actual airflow.
