Jabsco 24V 4-Inch 250 CFM Flangemount Blower

The Jabsco 24V 4-Inch Flangemount Blower (part 35400-0010) moves about 250 CFM through 4-inch ducting on 24-volt systems. It is made for larger engine spaces where a 3-inch blower cannot move enough air. The flange bolts flat to a bulkhead for a solid mount. It is the 24-volt counterpart to the 12V 4-inch flangemount models.

The housing is ignition protected for fuel spaces and made of corrosion-resistant plastic. 4-inch hose slips over the collars and is secured with clamps. It is well suited to clearing large compartments quickly before engine start. The flange style works best where there is a flat bulkhead at a convenient spot along the duct run. A 24V motor draws less current than a 12V motor for the same airflow, which keeps voltage drop low on long wire runs.

Make sure your boat runs 24V before installing. Keep the hose route short, and do not step down to a smaller diameter anywhere in the run. Clean the intake and check hose clamps at each service. Place the intake end of the hose low in the bilge, since fuel vapor is heavier than air. Wire it through a 24V-rated switch and fuse sized to the motor.
