Jabsco 12V 4-Inch 250 CFM Flexmount Blower

The Jabsco 12V 4-Inch Flexmount Blower (part 35440-0000) moves about 250 CFM through 4-inch hose and mounts on a universal bracket. The bracket lets you turn the outlet so the hose route is as smooth as possible. This is a standard-duty model aimed at fast fuel vapor purging in larger engine spaces. Rated airflow is the same as the heavy duty 4-inch models, but the motor is designed for shorter run cycles.

Larger gasoline engine compartments hold more air, so a 4-inch blower clears them faster than a 3-inch unit. The housing is ignition protected for fuel spaces and resists corrosion. It is lighter duty than the heavy duty 35770 model, so plan on shorter run times. Its universal bracket can be screwed to a stringer, bulkhead, or the underside of a hatch frame, which opens up more mounting options.

Mount it high in the exhaust duct and route the intake hose low into the bilge. Follow the four-minute rule before starting a gasoline engine. If the boat needs a blower to run for long periods, choose a heavy duty continuous model instead. Wire it to a switch at the helm with an indicator light so it is easy to remember to run before starting. Find heavy duty and 24V blowers in boat outfitting.
