Jabsco 12V 3-Inch 105 CFM Flexmount Blower

The Jabsco 12V 3-Inch Flexmount Blower (part 35515-0010) moves about 105 CFM through 3-inch hose and mounts with a universal bracket. The bracket lets the motor housing be turned to point the outlet where the duct needs to go. That is helpful in tight engine bays where a fixed flange would force the hose into a sharp bend. The same 3-inch hose and fittings used with the flangemount version connect to this one.

Like the flangemount version, this blower is meant mainly for clearing fuel vapor and short ventilation runs. It is ignition protected for use in gasoline engine and fuel tank compartments. The plastic housing resists corrosion, and the motor is sealed against moisture.

Set the outlet angle so the hose runs as straight as possible to the exterior vent. Run the blower for at least four minutes before starting a gasoline engine, and use your nose as a final check for fuel smell. For engine room cooling or long run times, pick a continuous-duty blower instead. Tighten the bracket screws firmly so engine vibration does not slowly rotate the blower out of position.
