This Class D DSC radio adds AIS receive capability in a body nearly half the depth of the M506, allowing installation in more confined spaces, with a large 3.5" color TFT display and simple user interface for casual and serious boaters alike.
The RS-M500 app for iOS and Android lets you remotely control the IC-M510 Plus over WLAN, with up to three smart devices usable as a wireless microphone or remote controller in place of the COMMANDMIC. The integrated AIS receiver shows real-time vessel traffic on the display, letting you make an individual DSC call directly to a selected AIS target, and an intercom function connects your smart device to the radio.
