Description

The Icom IC-M605 25W Fixed Mount VHF Radio with AIS has all the multi-station flexibility of the M605 plus an integrated AIS receiver. The AIS combo screen lets you watch the AIS plotter while using the radio, and you can call a selected AIS target directly with an individual DSC call. Up to three remote stations can be added using HM-195 CommandMics and RC-M600 Command Heads, and each works as an intercom.

The 4.3 in color TFT display has a nearly 180 degree viewing angle and a night mode for easy viewing after dark. Soft keys put the most used functions one push away, and a ten-key pad makes entering channels and MMSI numbers easy. Active noise canceling clears transmit and receive audio, and last call recording saves the last two minutes of an incoming call.

NMEA 2000 shares GNSS, AIS, DSC and channel data with your network, and NMEA 0183/HS position data can be converted to NMEA 2000. It also has a 30 watt listen-back hailer, a built-in foghorn, Class D DSC, weather alerts and AquaQuake. The radio is IPX8 rated, puts out 25 watts and includes a GNSS antenna.
