The Icom IC-M510 EVO NMEA 2000 Fixed Mount VHF Radio is a multifunctional, award-winning transceiver, its design earning an iF Design Award, that adds smartphone-based remote control to standard Class D DSC communication.
Built-in NMEA 2000 connectivity gives it a plug-and-play path onto an existing network, and it packs a powerful hailer setup, 25 watts in transmit mode and 20 watts on receive, extending real capability past standard radio traffic. Controlling the radio remotely from a smart device is straightforward, and a color display along with built-in navigation functions round out a radio equally suited to pleasure boating, fishing, sailing, or rescue and public safety work.
Note: this model does not include an AIS receiver.
Transmit power reaches 25 watts, and the radio is rated IP68 waterproof with an integrated GNSS receiver and Class D DSC. No AIS receiver comes with this unit.
