Icom IC-M25 EVO Black Floating VHF Radio

The Icom IC-M25 EVO Black Floating VHF Radio is an upgraded version of Icom's popular IC-M25 floating handheld. If you drop it in the water, Float'n Flash keeps it on the surface, flashing and sounding an alarm. It has an improved grip texture and larger buttons, and this one is Black.

Eco Mode drops transmit power to 2.5 watts and stretches battery life to about 14 hours, around 30 percent more than at 5 watts. A USB Type-C port charges the battery in about three hours, and you can charge from a portable battery pack. AquaQuake drains water from the speaker so audio stays clear.

A loud 700 mW speaker cuts through engine and wind noise. It is IPX7 waterproof to 1 m for 30 minutes. Dual and Tri-Watch monitor Channel 16 and the call channel, a dedicated key jumps straight to Channel 16, and NOAA weather alerts warn you of storms. A favorite channel list, auto scan, monitor function, 4-step battery indicator and 2-step power save are built in. It weighs 8 oz and is 1.2 in deep, so it rides comfortably on a PFD or in a pocket.
