The Gator Guards BowShield Medium protects the bow from scuffs, scratches, and abrasion caused by trailer rollers and other repeated contact. The bow is exposed during launching, loading, docking, and trailering, so adding a durable guard can help preserve the underlying finish before cosmetic damage develops into a more expensive repair.

The medium BowShield is made from 22-gauge mirror-finished 316 marine-grade stainless steel and measures 7.5 by 9 inches. It is intended for bow rollers up to 8 inches and includes a pre-creased centerline that makes the stainless panel easier to bend and fit to the boat’s bow contour.

Installation requires a smooth area without steps or chines that the guard would need to bridge. The package includes a 24-hour urethane adhesive for a permanent installation rather than a peel-and-stick bond. Dry-fit the shield first, confirm roller alignment and coverage, then follow the adhesive preparation and curing directions before trailering the boat.
