The Gator Guards SkegShield for Mercury Verado outboards protects the skeg on Mercury's Verado lower units. A damaged skeg on a high-horsepower engine is an expensive fix, and a stainless guard helps prevent it. The guard also serves as a repair option if the skeg already has damage.
