The ESEE Laser Strike has a 4.88-inch gunsmoke gray 1095HC steel blade with a full tang at 10 inches overall, an OD green micarta handle with a divot and a lanyard hole.

The divot machined into the handle is a bearing block for a bow drill spindle, which is the detail that names this a survival knife rather than a camp one. It means fire by friction without carrying a separate socket. 1095HC also strikes a ferro rod off the blade spine, so two of the three things a fire needs come from the knife itself.
