EGIS 12V 100A Auxiliary Contact Contactor

The EGIS 12V 100A Auxiliary Contact Contactor is designed to switch engine and auxiliary loads remotely so heavy battery cable does not have to be routed to a manual control point. Its hermetically sealed construction keeps dust and moisture away from the contact assembly, and the auxiliary contacts can be used to confirm the contactor state from a remote location.

This 12V-control version operates across an 8 to 16VDC control range while the contact system supports much higher switched-circuit voltage. The enclosure is rated IP67/IP69K and the unit is ignition protected to ISO 8846 / UL 1500 for installation in closed compartments. Stainless self-locking hardware and reinforced mounting holes support secure installation in marine and vehicle electrical systems.

EGIS rates the contactor for 6,000 cycles at 100A/350V and 100,000 cycles at 100A/14V. In a locked-starter fault condition, it can interrupt up to 1,250A at 14VDC. The specified operating-temperature range is -40 to 85°C, and the contactor is backed by a 4-year manufacturer warranty.
