EGIS 12V 100A Auxiliary Contact Contactor

The EGIS 12V 100A Auxiliary Contact Contactor is a sealed high-current contactor for remotely switching engine and auxiliary loads without routing long, heavy battery cables to a manual switch. Its hermetically sealed design keeps dust and moisture away from the contact assembly, helping reduce cable weight, voltage drop, and installation complexity in harsh marine and vehicle electrical systems. Optional auxiliary contacts provide remote confirmation of the contactor’s on/off state.

The contactor is ignition protected for installation in closed compartments where explosive gases may be present, and its high contact-voltage capability supports 12V or 24V control systems while switching circuits up to 48V and beyond. Stainless self-locking hardware and reinforced mounting holes provide corrosion resistance and secure attachment, while the sealed enclosure is rated IP67/IP69K. The operating temperature range is -40 to 85°C, and ignition protection is listed to ISO 8846 / UL 1500.

Rated continuous current is 100A, with an operating control-voltage range of 8 to 16VDC. The contact system is designed for high switching endurance (6,000 cycles at 100A/350V and 100,000 cycles at 100A/14V) and can interrupt severe fault current in a locked-starter condition up to 1,250A at 14VDC. EGIS also backs the contactor with a 4-year manufacturer warranty.
