EGIS 60A 87 Series Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker

The EGIS 60A 87 Series Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker is a compact protection and disconnect device for battery-fed DC wiring. It trips automatically during damaging over-current conditions and can also be switched off manually when the circuit needs to be serviced or isolated.

The breaker can be used on 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48VDC systems and carries an IP66 environmental rating. Its manual switching mechanism is rated for 2,000 full-current cycles, while short-circuit interruption is specified at 5,000A at 14VDC and 3,000A at 28VDC.

For harsh service, the breaker combines reinforced mounting points with corrosion-resistant stainless connection hardware. Serrated flange nuts help the terminals stay secure under vibration, and the ON/OFF control is easy to read. The unit is made in the USA and carries a 4-year manufacturer warranty.
