The EGIS 25A 87 Series Surface-Mount Circuit Breaker serves as both an over-current protective device and a service disconnect for battery-powered DC circuits. Because it mounts directly to the installation surface, it can be positioned near the protected wiring without creating a dedicated panel opening.

Dust and water sealing protect the breaker in exposed electrical spaces, while the voltage rating covers common DC architectures through 48V. The unit is ignition protected and designed around newer ABYC E-11 interrupt requirements for installations where the connected battery system can deliver high short-circuit current.
