Digital Yacht PilotLINK2 Class A Pilot Plug WiFi

The Digital Yacht PilotLINK2 plugs into the standard Pilot Plug on a Class A AIS transponder and shares its AIS and GPS data over Wi-Fi. Many Class A systems only offer this wired Amphenol connector. PilotLINK2 lets pilots and delivery captains use an iPhone, tablet or laptop instead of a cable.

It's USB powered, so it runs from any USB source, adapter or power pack. It creates a secure password-protected Wi-Fi network or joins another one. Hundreds of apps work with it, including iSailor, Navionics, iNavX, NavLINK, TZ iBoat, Imray, NV Charts and AquaMaps.

A web interface shows diagnostics along with the Class A static, dynamic and voyage data. It supports TCP/IP and UDP and has a raw data log function. Check the available mounting space and surrounding hardware before installation so a correct part number does not turn into a clearance problem. Browse more marine networking.
