The Cold Steel Tanto Spike has a 4-inch satin stainless tanto blade with a full tang, a black G10 handle and a Secure-Ex sheath. Made in Taiwan.
The Spike series is shaped around a very narrow profile. The handle is barely wider than the blade, which makes the knife exceptionally flat and easy to carry inside a waistband or under clothing where a contoured grip would print. That narrowness costs some comfort in extended cutting, which is the trade the design accepts in exchange for concealment.
4116 is a German stainless chosen for corrosion resistance and easy resharpening rather than maximum edge holding. The tanto tip is reinforced by its angled geometry, putting more steel behind the point than a fine tip has, and Secure-Ex is Cold Steel's molded thermoplastic sheath material. It looks sick looks scary looking intimidating I love it haven't used it yet but I do love it been using the spike Bowie knife neck knife same design different blade a little heavy well balanced must say for being 8 in Long it really conceals good as a neck knife feels really good in your hand highly recommend haven't carried mine yet but the spike Bowie knife and I I've been carrying so it's got to be just the same would recommend
